SAF & Machine

Southern Aluminum Foundry & Machine Inc is a privately owned family buisiness, based in Clinton, South Carolina and founded by C.O. Freeman.

 

In 1965, C.O. opened the SAF & Machine and began part-time operations. Shortly thereafter, demand for work increased and C.O. decided to make the foundry a full-time operation.

 

In 1979, as SAF & Machine continued to grow, C.O. moved the facility to Laurens. In 1997, just four miles down the road, C.O. opened a second facility in Clinton, which is now the home of SAF & Machine's Corporate Office.

SAF & Machine now has over 80,000 square feet of manufacturing area.

 

 

In 1984, C.O.'s son Stephen R. Freeman

followed his fathers footsetps and now leads SAF & Machine.

 

SAF & Machine has always believed that every customer and every employee is critical to a company's success. We have a proven relationship with many of our customers that have stayed with SAF & Machine for over 25 years, as a matter of fact we still have our very first customer and our very first employee.
